Getting Ready for Trees and Trains!

It's that time of year again! The museum will be closed to the public for the next several weeks while our staff and volunteers prepare the facility for the 2025 Trees and Trains event. The SDSRM will reopen to the public on November 26th at 2:00 PM and will be open 11-5 on selected dates which are available on the "Visit Us" page.

Santa Claus is also coming to the SDSRM again! If you'd like to get photos with Santa, he'll be stopping by from 11-4 every day that the museum is open from November 28th to December 23rd.

And finally, we are offering a holiday-discounted admission of $5.00 per adult. All children 10 and under are free with an admission-paying adult.
